Most homes are offered unfurnished with tenants paying their own heating and BC Hydro costs.  Tenants are responsible for maintaining the lot (lawn mowing and snow clearing) and are strongly recommended to purchase a tenant's insurance package to include liability and also coverage on their own belongings.

Property owners pay for municipal utilities (water, sewer, garbage), property taxes, and insurance coverage for the property. ½ month's rent is collected in a security deposit and when a pet is permitted, an additional ½ month’s rent in pet damage deposit is required.
